Once you have received your tax receipt to claim a tax credit you will need to fill out an IR526 form

- When will I receive my tax receipt from TEAR Fund?

- Can I receive my tax receipt via email?
Yes, we’d love you to do this! That will help us save both money and trees. To request an electronic copy of your tax receipt simply email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to tell us which period you are requesting a copy for. Remember to check your junk-mail box!
- Why should I claim a credit?
If you do not claim a credit the money remains with the government. However, if you do claim your credit, you can either keep it or choose to make your initial donation work again by donating it back to TEAR Fund. We have a growing number of people who do this each year, and on behalf of the missions and projects, we thank you for your support.
