Donor Relations Coordinator

TEAR Fund has an opportunity for a Donor Relations Coordinator to join our team. If you are an aspiring accounts manager who has a flair for fundraising as well as customer relations and have a passion for TEAR Fund's mission then this could be the role for you!

The role of Donor Relations Coordinator develops relationships and creates and implements strategies specifically around our important mid-level donors. During an initial training period, the role is heavily focused on donor communication. From here, the role extends to developing relationships with TEAR Fund's mid-level donors through a targeted outbound calling programme aimed at donor engagement and fundraising.

Once an initial training is complete it can be expected that the role is an even split between donor communication and donor engagement.

Our successful candidate will be people focused, have excellent communication and organisation skills and ideally have experience in a customer relations, fundraising or accounts management.

Qualifications/Experience requirements: A customer care based qualification is an advantage; minimum NCEA level 3 or higher; preferably 2 years' experience in customer care/account management, fundraising or sales; experience working in an aid and development agency is an advantage; working knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office required.

Receptionist

We have an opportunity at our Auckland Office for a customer focussed individual. This role provides the chance to demonstrate customer service expertise serving both our external and internal customers. As a part of the Business Services team, this role is the initial 'face' of the business ensuring the visitor experience at TEAR Fund is positive, welcoming and efficient.

Key responsibilities include the following:
- Customer service (telephone, email and walk-in enquiries)
- Staff and guest hospitality
- Facilities management including meeting room bookings
- General administrative and database duties
- Support for the Business Services team

Our successful candidate will have experience in face-to-face customer service or hospitality. Skills and experience in administrative support and data entry are an advantage. Successful candidates will need to have an excellent standard of personal and work space presentation, a willing attitude, the ability to multitask and prioritize workload, be welcoming and pleasant and have excellent work ethics.

A keen desire to serve others and a passion for the mission of TEAR Fund is a must.

Business Services Officers

TEAR Fund currently has two exciting opportunities in our Business Services team. Our team is focused on serving the needs of the business and we work in a fun and supportive environment. Collectively, we are responsible for supporting the organisation's business functions including finance, IT, human resources and administration.

Income Administrator
We're looking for an experienced administrator to support the Business Services team through performing finance and administration functions. It is the responsibility of this role to process all Supporter payments, update records and reconcile income bank accounts whilst providing a quality Supporter experience. This role is fulltime.

Accounts Payable
The Accounts Payable role is crucial to ensuring that Business Services performs effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative tasks. The role includes opening incoming mail, processing expenditure, managing petty cash, completing banking deposits, processing company credit card expenses, file management and other related tasks. This role is 31 hours per week or 0.8 FTE.

Successful Business Services Officer candidates will:
- have a certificate in administration or business
- demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- have excellent systems, computer and data entry skills
- be prepared to work to targets and deadlines
- possess refined time management ability
- work well in a team environment
- be committed to the delivery of quality outcomes
- have enthusiasm and flexibility
