Donor Relations Coordinator

TEAR Fund has an opportunity for a Donor Relations Coordinator to join our team. If you are an aspiring accounts manager who has a flair for fundraising as well as customer relations and have a passion for TEAR Fund's mission then this could be the role for you!

The role of Donor Relations Coordinator develops relationships and creates and implements strategies specifically around our important mid-level donors. During an initial training period, the role is heavily focused on donor communication. From here, the role extends to developing relationships with TEAR Fund's mid-level donors through a targeted outbound calling programme aimed at donor engagement and fundraising.

Once an initial training is complete it can be expected that the role is an even split between donor communication and donor engagement.

Our successful candidate will be people focused, have excellent communication and organisation skills and ideally have experience in a customer relations, fundraising or accounts management.

Qualifications/Experience requirements: A customer care based qualification is an advantage; minimum NCEA level 3 or higher; preferably 2 years' experience in customer care/account management, fundraising or sales; experience working in an aid and development agency is an advantage; working knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office required.

TEAR Fund is seeking applicants for a role that combines a number of your top admin skills and is the welcoming face for visitors at our Auckland office.

The role of the Receptionist is to ensure the visitor experience at TEAR Fund is positive, welcoming and efficient and to perform all reception tasks to a high standard. The role includes managing room bookings at the facility, staff and guest hospitality, other database and administrative tasks and supporting the Business Services team as required.

Applicants who have experience in reception or hospitality roles are preferred. Skills and experience in administrative support and data entry are an advantage. Successful candidates will need to have an excellent standard of personal and work space presentation, a willing attitude, the ability to multitask and prioritize workload, be welcoming and pleasant and have excellent work ethics.

A keen desire to serve others and a passion for the mission of TEAR Fund is a must.
